Diaphragm seals are used to prevent process medium formentering directly into the pressure-sensing assembly of the differentialpressure transmitter, they are connected to the transmitter using capillariesfilled with fill fluid. EJA118E Diaphragm Sealed Differential Pressure Transmitterscan be used to measure liquid, gas, or steam flow, as well as liquid level,density, and pressure. EJA118E outputs a 4 to 20 mA DC signal Corresponding tothe measured differential pressure. Its highly accurate and stable sensor canalso measure the static pressure which can be shown on the integral indicatoror remotely monitored via BRAIN or HART communications. Other key featuresinclude quick response, remote set-up using communications, andself-diagnostics. FOUNDATION fieldbus and PROFIBUS PA protocol types are alsoavailable. All EJA-E series models in their standard configuration, with theexception of the Fieldbus and PROFIBUS types, are certified as complying withSIL 2 for safety requirement.
